Here is Part Two of this big book: a dream, a story, an entertainment, a fantasy, a continued journey. It is not a disciplined exposition or scholarly exploration – it has footnotes, but they get into arguments with the author. As in Part One, we find layers and wonders that reach far and deep into the secret ways of our minds and spirits. We read stories, and we find worlds. We find life. We find understanding. We find love. And at last we find hope.

Part Two of the book draws us faster and faster through the stages of dreaming: of fragmentation, of infinity, of the edges and boundaries, of time’s reaches, of the thermodynamic casino, and finally to our unending awakening.

Again, the Writings of the great faiths are quoted here, now in greater profusion, in the mystery-laden caroling of the birds of our Creator’s Heaven.
