Had a blowout on the E11 this morning, managed to get to the hard shoulder safely but the tyre is completely gone and the spare is one of those space savers that I don't want to drive on for long. I need a proper replacement today, not next week, since I rely on the car for work. I'm in Musaffah so I've been looking into Quick car tyre change in Musaffah, but I want to know whether these places stock common sizes or if I'll need to order and wait. Has anyone had a same day tyre replacement recently? Also, how do I check the manufacturing date on the new tyre before they fit it, because I've heard of places selling old stock. I'd rather get this right than end up with a tyre that's been sitting in a warehouse for years.
